Self-Determination Program

Your life, your budget, your choices.

For Regional Center consumers exercising the Self-Determination Program (SDP), EPS is a trusted partner you can hire directly through your individual budget. We deliver person-centered employment and community integration services — designed around your goals, not our schedule.

Understanding SDP

What is the Self-Determination Program?

A brief, friendly explanation for participants and family members who may be new to SDP.

SDP puts you in the driver's seat.

The Self-Determination Program is a voluntary option offered by California Regional Centers that gives you more choice and control over the services, supports, and opportunities you receive. Instead of a Regional Center choosing your providers and managing your budget, you — with support from your team — build your own plan and choose the providers who will help you reach your goals.

EPS is proud to serve as a chosen provider for SDP participants across Los Angeles County, bringing both flexibility and a familiar, participant-first approach to employment and community life.
